We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Sophisticated, while informal, brasserie with small but enough choice of menu and wines. High quality, delicious dishes. We had the 3-course set menu, whereby for every course you have a choice of one out of three dishes. Starters charcuterie and shrimp croquettes. Main dorade filet and lamb filet. Dessert cheese platter and parfait. Nice bottle of Sancerre. All excellent. Friendly and well-trained service of young waiters, setting itself apart from the common sub-par waiter standard in the Netherlands. Nice outdoor setting on their front terrace on the Markt, main square of Lochem. Highly recommended.

Good food, cosy and homely atmosphere. Dinner with a view ... of the St Gudula Parish Church.
After being a regular guest for at least 6 years I have to share that the place is just stunning however some of the waitresses are UNFRIENDLY and will spoil your visit.Pitty.
